Warehouse Supervisor

In this role as a Warehouse Supervisor at Kuehne+Nagel, there is a strong focus on continuous improvement within the logistics center. You will be part of a team of four Warehouse Supervisors, who mainly focus on the operational activities on the work floor. In addition to managing operations, you will also be responsible for improving processes at the site. With over 500 trucks arriving daily, there are countless internal processes to optimize. Your mission is to drive continuous improvement, identify bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency. No challenge is too big for you!

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and improving logistics processes using Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies;
• Managing urgent tasks and adjusting workflows in the event of unusual circumstances;
• Leading daily stand-up meetings;
• Handling administrative tasks, including time tracking and reporting to stakeholders;
• Providing operational leadership on the work floor.

As a Warehouse Supervisor with a strong focus on process improvement, it’s essential not only to manage workflows but also to inspire your team to minimize errors and continuously strive for excellence. You are motivated by the challenge of identifying opportunities for optimization and have a sharp eye for enhancing efficiency. Additionally, you are adept at translating ideas into concrete action plans and improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence.

• You have experience in a dynamic environment.
• You have knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
• You speak the Dutch language;
• You speak the English language;

• A salary between €3,500,- and €4,000,- per month;
