You will be joining Action, one of Europe's fastest-growing retailers. With over 2500 stores across the continent and a product range that changes weekly, you will be part of a dynamic and challenging environment, with lots of opportunities for you to grow!
During this traineeship, you will receive guidance and training to become a Business Controller in just 18 months! The program prioritizes both professional and personal development, with a mentor assigned to guide you through your personal development plan. You will receive specific assignments related to the financial department, as well as participating in courses and workshops that will help you gain the experience needed to become a financial expert.
The office is located a 25-minute drive from the northern part of Amsterdam.
What can you expect?
- A base salary around €3000 gross per month during your traineeship;
- A personal development plan, and guidance by an experienced mentor;
- Interesting assignments and courses within the financial department;
- 24 days of holiday and the option to buy 5 extra days (based on 38 hours per week);
- 15% staff discount on your purchases;
- Collective health insurance and travel allowance.
How we'll proceed. Within four working days we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process. Functie eisen
Who are you?You are interested in retail and finance, entrepreneurial, have lots of commercial insight and a hands-on mindset. You learn quickly, have good analytical skills, and take a practical approach to your work. Your confidence and communication skills also allow you to find your way in a challenging and fast-changing work environment.
You also have the following:
* University or HBO level;
* Willingness to learn;
* One to two years' work experience, can be as an internship;
* Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) .
