As a Commerce Trainee, you'll dive into one of the most fast-paced areas of the company: the Commerce department. You'll explore various aspects of the business, with a special focus on buying, in this dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. Throughout your traineeship, you'll have plenty of opportunities for both personal and professional development.

In the Buying department, you and over 50 colleagues work together as the driving force behind the company's success. Your main task is to investigate how the organization can obtain and provide products with the best price and quality. As a team, you consistently shape the product range by introducing more than 150 new products every week.
All in all, your team is responsible for creating a well-balanced, sustainable, surprising, and affordable product range that consists of approximately 6,000 products.
What can you expect?
- A base salary around 3200 gross per month;
- 24 days of holiday and the option to buy 5 extra days (based on 38 hours per week);
- 15% staff discount on your purchases;
- Collective health insurance and travel allowance.
How we'll proceed. Within four working days we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. After consulting with you, we will introduce you to our client and then continue to guide you through the application process. Functie eisen
We are seeking a trainee who meets the following qualifications:* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a commercial or economic field;
* One to two years of experience in a commercial role in Retail;
* Willingness to learn and improve your commercial skills;
* Ability to communicate in English (Dutch being an added bonus)
* A hands-on approach, commercial insight, and excellent communication skills are all required.
