System Test (Automation) Engineer-Talent Program
Start Date:ASAP

Your Challenge

As a System Test (Automation) Engineer, you will play a key role in verifying new product introductions and maintenance releases for the Azurion and Allura Xper FD system product families. Working in a multidisciplinary project team, you will design and execute optimal manual and automated test strategies, leveraging your expertise in test methodologies, medical domain knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (development, validation, application, and marketing). Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the successful verification and release of various system configurations.

 

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Review and implement the Product Verification Plan to optimize the test strategy.
  • Assess requirement and design documents from a test automation perspective.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test protocols (test cases/scripts), ensuring they are objective, reproducible, and maintainable:
    • Utilizing advanced test design methods, automation techniques, and tools (AI/ML, ISTQB, Gherkin, C#, NUnit).
    • Applying medical domain knowledge and complying with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
    • Analyze, interpret, and report test results for system integration and verification.
    • Provide proactive feedback to development and system design teams.
    • Contribute to improvements in test ware, supporting tools, and verification processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders from development, validation, service, and manufacturing to enhance testing efficiency.
Your Team

You will be part of the Business Unit Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems within Philips Healthcare. This unit is responsible for the marketing, service, development, and manufacturing of IGT systems, which are widely used in cardiac and vascular medical diagnosis and treatment. Our customers include hospitals, medical specialists, and healthcare staff. Given the regulated nature of the industry, applications and compliance play a vital role in the development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, software development, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing and test automation within a complex, regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in software development and scripting, particularly in Gherkin/C#; knowledge of NUnit & SpecFlow is a plus.
  • Possesses a strong focus on quality with a proactive sense of ownership.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment with global development teams across multiple locations.

Primary employment conditions

  • A good salary as per industry standards(classification depending on education and work experience);
  • 13th month (paid on a pro-rata basis)
