You will be trained by a very nice colleague who will retire next spring. Your responsibilities as a Sales Administration Officer:
- Enter and review sales orders received via email or phone in the Sales Order System (in SharePoint/PowerApps) and ensure the approval process is followed in a timely manner.
- Provide sales administration support for the sales team by preparing offers, assisting with PowerPoint presentations, and drafting documents and reports.
- Liaise and communicate with the group’s customers, agents, and suppliers with the objective of providing superior after-sales service.
- Act as a liaison between logistics, sales, and customers to ensure shipments are processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the sales contract.
- Develop and maintain a customer and supplier database that can be used as a reference for past sales, tracking current sales, shipping status, and other forms of sales trend analysis.
- Develop and maintain an effective filing/record-keeping system and compile and distribute quarterly crop reports.
Your new employer is a buyer and seller of tobacco for cigars and cigarettes worldwide. You will be in contact with growers in countries such as Brazil, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, and Malawi, and with customers across the globe. The office in Aalsmeer employs around 20 people from various countries.
Wat is jouw achtergrond en ervaring?You have a responsible and proactive attitude, preferably with experience in creating sales analysis reports and overviews. Knowledge of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) is desirable. You are a team player with a high level of dedication. Additionally:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Coordinator.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with discretion regarding confidential information.
- Strong arithmetic skills and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
