Informatie
DeRegt’s R&D department is currently developing a telemetry system for large rotating machinery. The project is in its prototyping phase, where both software and hardware prototypes have been successfully established as proof-of-concept. As we move into the next phase, we aim to solidify a robust mechanical design for both our testing environment as well as the implementation in existing machinery. Additionally the system will undergo extensive validation testing.
Werkzaamheden **Role and Responsibilities** As an intern, you will be an integral part of the R&D team, but you will have the autonomy to set your own goals, challenges and timelines. You will report directly to the R&D manager. Your responsibilities include: * Familiarization with current established technologies. * Understanding software user interfaces. * Gaining basic understanding of the sensor that are implemented. * Get acquainted with various validation methods. * Research and development * Investigate potential improvements in sensor technology. * Optimize mechanical design of test environment in our R&D lab. * Establish a final design for integration in our existing machinery. * Testing and analysis * Perform validation testing and analyzing results. **Additional opportunities** * You will have access to DeRegt’s R&D lab, which includes a dedicated area for this project. * The R&D lab also offers the availability of advanced 3D printing technology, which will significantly accelerate your design iterations cycles. * We organize bi-weekly colloquia where you will have the chance to present your successes, findings and challenges with other colleagues and students (in English).Omschrijving
