About this role:
As a Strategic Program Lead - Marketing, you will work closely with the Head of Global Marketing Strategy and Planning, helping shape marketing strategy and planning efforts, and supporting the marketing team according to circumstances and needs.


Focusing on the cross-functional initiatives that require close collaboration with the Commercial and the Logistic teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping a point of view on marketing strategy across JET, enable support for our markets around the world, facilitate the sharing of best practices and the development of the playbooks and strategic frameworks that are needed, and help architect and coordinate key programs and strategic initiatives that deliver value for JET. 

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Contribute to ensuring the effective execution of the marketing strategy and tracking of our OGSM KPIs.

  • In collaboration with the Research & Insights and the Customer Intelligence teams, create insights for the Marketing Management team, and support the Head of Marketing Global Strategy in setting a strategic agenda for the marketing team and ensuring that we deliver consistently against the marketing strategy. 

  • Foster strong working relationships across Country Management, Sales & Operations, and Marketing, and within the Marketing team itself, by identifying and managing dependencies across teams and disciplines and sharing best practices.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations team to establish delivery and project management best practices and ways of working into teams, to develop planning and execution of the marketing key initiatives.

  • Work in cross-functional teams as the POC in Marketing, owning/supporting, initiating, planning, and executing cross-functional projects across all markets and functions.

    • Establish marketing standards, methodologies, and frameworks for strategic initiatives, and act as the bridge between global strategy and local teams.

    • Develop and maintain marketing playbooks, toolkits, and creative guidelines for local execution. 

    • Track initiatives’ effectiveness, facilitate best practice sharing, and cross-market collaboration.

    • Leverage centralized insights, learnings, and competitive intelligence to optimize marketing strategies and recommend key KPIs.

  • Communicate clearly between internal and external teams.

    • Confidently manage stakeholder expectations with associated communication.

    • Own internal PR strategy, telling the value story of the broader Marketing team.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Experience in a strategy or advisory role (e.g., consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, Chief of Staff, or go-to-market role), or similar experience in a leading Marketing role (Head of Marketing, Marketing Lead).

  • Deep knowledge of the marketing world combined with strategic thinking and strong business and commercial acumen.

  • Confident in developing narratives for executive audiences, presenting concepts and ideas to a wide range of contributors and ExCo-level stakeholders.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to confidently communicate with JET employees from C-level executives and ExCo, to mid-management and agent, courier levels.

    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to sell an idea to the team and get the right buy-in.

  • Experience in leading teams via influence and persuasion.

  • Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate well while doing so. 

  • Be intellectually curious, investigate where details and data take you.

    • Comfortable working with ambiguity within a fast-paced environment. 

  • Passionate about data and insight, and able to use those to inform decisions and strategies.

  • Independent thinker, proactive, able to see the big picture, and think “one step ahead”. 

    • Confident in taking requirements and uncovering the key business questions.

    • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. 

    • Highly organized, energetic, honest, humble, and open style.
