About this role:As Sr. Business Analyst, you will create strategic insights for our Grocery, Retail and Jet Go (3P logistics) businesses helping to shape the strategy and our long-term vision and goals. Your role focuses on delivering deep insights into the competitive landscape, business performance, consumer and partners behavior, e2e activations and market dynamics across 16+ countries.
You will work directly with the ExCo -1 and their direct reports. Your ability to deal with senior internal stakeholders will be crucial in creating highly valuable insights and driving the business forward. With your business knowledge and interpersonal skills, you’ll make sure that fact-based decisions are made and the right priorities are set. You will work directly with both the Sr Director of Groceries, Convenience and Retail and the Head of Strategy.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Amsterdam office & 2 days working from home.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:- Collaborate closely with the global sales department to understand business goals, strategies and priorities;
- Data Synthesis & Reporting: Work with the Data & Analytics team to create meaningful KPIs and metrics. Use tools like Tableau and Google BigQuery for advanced reporting and visualization;
- Drive recommendations and commercial growth opportunities and actions based on market share data, consumer sentiment, and (internal) operational metrics like delivery times, partner growth, AOV etc;
- Strategic Influence: Convert complex data findings into actionable business insights on customer ordering behaviour, market share, marketing trading effectiveness, menu category management, own channel impact, logistics optimisation;
- Collaborative Analysis: Engage with various teams, including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance, leveraging insights to drive cross-functional strategies and decisions;
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for innovation and improvement.
What will you bring to the table?
- Multiple years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Data engineering skills are a plus;
- Experience with working at a tech company is a big plus;
- Proven ability in transforming data into actionable intelligence, ideally in consulting, finance, or industry business analytics;
- Experience with data analysis tools: Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Tableau, and Google BigQuery, to extract insights from large datasets.
- Ability to explore and connect to a variety of data sources, including third party data providers, APIs, data scraping tools, public data sources, etc;
- Skilled in data visualization using Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Ability to communicate complex data analysis findings to a variety of stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners, as well as creating presentations to showcase this;
- Be intellectually curious and investigate where details and data takes you
- High energy, autonomy and resilience with a “Get it done” attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an inquisitive mind and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
