Solution Architect

For the coming years, a very ambitious IT strategy has been defined. This strategy will lead to a fundamental transformation of our IT landscape and lead to harmonization within the group.

The main business applications (think WMS, ERP, E-Com platform) will be renewed and rolled-out to all entities. This is a huge challenge, and we will need the best people with us to support this transition.

As a application support manager we will look to you to support us during this transition phase. With your support we will be able to keep our current applications up and running while also moving to our new landscape. Your support will be vital during this transition. You will be on the lookout for any issues within our legacy systems, (help) mitigate risks and issues. All this while also looking out for the new application roll-out.

• Process optimization: Define concrete suggestions for process optimizations while working closely with business, IT and other stakeholders;
• Process control: Create process overviews and define any risks and issues for these processes. These design will serve as a starting point for the actual change;
• Analyse business processes: You will analyse business processes, data and KPI’s to identify possible needs for change and optimizations. For example; streamlining workflows, reduction of unnecessary process steps or reduction of complexity within business processes;
• IT-needs: Identify and document IT needs within the company. Prepare and refine user stories for functional and non-functional requirements;
• Documentation: You will be in charge of setting up and maintaining documentation for all systems and services within our application landscape.

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience;
• 3+ years’ experience working in a complex and medium to large organisation;
• Be very skilled in comprehending complex landscapes;
• You have experience as a solution architect within SAP driven landscapes with applications such as ERP/ ECC/ EWM;
• Ideally you have worked as a solution architect within a omnichannel driven organisation;
• You have solid knowledge of working in an Agile way;
• Confluence and Jira are your preferred tools or you have the power to convince us to use something else;
• Dutch language on C1 level is a must;
• Experience within companies with retail landscapes in a plus;
• Experience within IT transformation projects is a plus.
