Join our team in IJmuiden as a Site Manager, overseeing daily service operations in the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind park, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in all site activities.

• Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS): Lead EHS initiatives on-site, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Act as a role model in promoting a strong EHS culture.
• Operational Oversight: Manage daily service operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Ensure activities align with company and project targets for safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify and manage risks and opportunities on-site. Develop and implement countermeasures for any deviations, ensuring transparency in escalation and reporting.
• Customer Management: Serve as the primary on-site representative for Siemens Gamesa, maintaining strong relationships with customers. Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction with service delivery.
• Team Leadership: Provide functional leadership to the site team, including planners, technicians, and stockkeepers. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Performance Improvement: Contribute to improving service KPIs and reporting processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• Experience: Proven experience in customer management and operational leadership within the renewable energy sector.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage EHS responsibilities effectively.

Schedule

This role offers a rotational schedule of 5 days of 12-hour shifts (including weekends and holidays) followed by 5 days off.

What do you need?

• Experience in offshore wind, preferably in service operations, oil, and gas offshore is also suitable.
• Experience as a site manager (you'll manage over 80 FTE)
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• In possession of driving licence B and a car.
• Experience with ERP systems and a good knowledge of Office 365 & other Microsoft applications.
• Fluent in English, preferably also fluent in Dutch.
• Living within 50 km of IJmuiden
• Technical background, preferably in renewable energy or similar

• Salary: €4800 – €5500 p.m. based on full-time (excl. add-ons, holidays etc.).
• Hours: rotational schedule of 5 days on and 5 days off.
• Location: IJmuiden — you need to live in the area (50 km max) already!
• Start date: flexible, but the sooner, the better
• Contract: 1 year via Yacht, after that extension or a perm contract with the company is possible
