While the head office is located in Papendrecht, this position is based at our production location in Helmond, where high-precision components are built for leading platforms like the F-35, NH90, and Apache. With 16,000+ employees worldwide, GKN Aerospace supplies over 90% of the world’s aircraft and engine manufacturers.
FunctieAs a Shopfloor Planner, you’re responsible for aligning customer demand with production capabilities. You coordinate across departments, manage resources, and continuously seek improvements in our planning processes. You are the crucial link between planning, logistics, and production.
Your responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing production schedules based on customer orders and capacity.
- Assigning personnel, machines, and materials to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinating with production, logistics, and procurement to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting schedules when necessary.
- Managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or surpluses.
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the process.
- Contributing to improvement initiatives and process optimization.
You’re someone who enjoys solving puzzles, thinking ahead, and ensuring that everything is in place—down to the last detail. You have a clear communication style and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders to keep the production engine running.
You bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of working and thinking, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or engineering.
- Experience with production planning or logistics processes (preferred).
- Strong prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to align teams and departments.
- An analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement.

- A gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,850.
