As a shiftleader warehouse, you are an important link in the operation, by ensuring that both your colleagues and yourself are and remain continuously busy with the right thing.
Your duties and responsibilities for this are as follows:
- Discussing the start of the day and distributing work;
- Leading colleagues;
- Moving goods and cars, from A to B;
- Assisting on the warehouse floor as needed;
- Performing forklift and/or reach truck work;
- Continuously keeping an overview and identifying bottlenecks;
- Keeping the warehouse clean.
The group you will lead consists of about 8 colleagues at a time, who are mainly Polish speaking. In addition, you will work together with another foreman and alternate each other's shifts every other week for a better work-life balance.
As a shiftleader warehouse this means that you work from Monday to Friday. One week you start at 17:00 and the other week at 00:00.
Your new employer provides warehousing, distribution and transportation for various companies, mainly B2B.
- You have several years of work experience in logistics, including on the forklift and/or reach truck.
- If you have been a foreman or similar before, this is an advantage, but if you have affinity with this and are willing to learn, that is also good.
- In addition, the company prefers English/Dutch speaking colleagues. If you speak Polish, you are more than welcome to apply as well.
- At start €2,750 gross per month based on 40 hours.
- Excluding surcharges between 23:00 - 03:00 hours in accordance with the collective labor agreement, which is expected to bring you up to approximately €2,950 gross per month.
- Travel allowance.
- 25 vacation days.
- 8.33% vacation pay.
- Accrual plus pension.
