We are seeking a financial and accounting expert to become a member of a large international medical device company. As a member of the General Ledger Team, you will have a significant contribution towards the daily financial operations. The key responsibility of this position is to guarantee precision and promptness in reporting financial results.

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing monthly accruals and provisions, with a focus on payroll-related items;
- Reconciling all balance sheet items and preparing documentation for review;
- Preparing VAT Returns, including journal entries;
- Reconciling intercompany accounts, including loans/interests and invoices;
- Processing bank entries related to the GL;
- Actively participating in the month-end closing process;
- Participating in the statutory accounts audit;
This role will have a monthly salary that conforms with market expectations, depending on knowledge level and experience. Additional benefits will be discussed in further detail throughout the interview process.

Functie eisen
In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:* 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, preferably in a large international organization;
* Minimum HBO level educational background in accounting, finance, economics or related field;
* Strong technical skillset in Office software applications;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
* Some familiarity and experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle;
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma would be considered a plus;
* Strong command of the English language required, Dutch preferred.
