Senior Exterior Engineer (Outfitting)

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Exterior within the yachtbuilding industry. In this role, it is important for you to ensure a coordinated, integrated, high-quality, and timely development of the final design. You will work on this with your fellow engineers, to whom you provide functional leadership. The team is responsible for detailed engineering, 3D models, and various datasheets.

• Conduct technical assessments regarding the feasibility and viability of the yacht construction in consultation with other disciplines.
• Provide support to the Lead Engineer and the Project Manager Engineering in defining the scope and planning.
• Identify technical challenges and propose possible (interdisciplinary) solutions, along with supporting arguments for these choices.
• Improve quality standards and contribute to knowledge building and innovation within the field.
• Contribute to the development of the department and the organization as a whole.

• Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
• Have relevant work experience in a similar role in yacht construction and/or interior construction.
• Possess knowledge of production techniques and experience with the feasibility of engineered components.
• Have good command of the English language.
• Have experience with AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Can collaborate effectively in a team.
