Senior buyer mechanical engineering

As a technical buyer, you ultimately have only one goal: to provide the right materials at the right time, under the right conditions and at the best purchase price!

The following activities are therefore part of your duties:

• Operational procurement of technical parts.
• Requesting and evaluating offers/contracts.
• Negotiating with suppliers, as well as maintaining continuous contact with them. 
• Doing technical market research.
• Managing the assortment/stocks in consultation with warehouse.
• Recording purchase-related data completely.

You pick up various flows within the procurement process: goods flow, financial flow, information flow and not least the relational flow. 

As a buyer, you will work Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00. Due to the company's two locations, varies the place where you work, Biddinghuizen or Zeewolde.

• Several years of relevant work experience as a buyer and experience in mechanical engineering is a must. 
• You are a driven person with experience in all 4 procurement streams. Both operationally and strategically. 
• Due to the international character of the organisation, you have a good command of both Dutch and English.

• Immediate 1-year secondment contract.
• €4,000 - €5,000 gross per month based on 40 hours (depending on your knowledge and skills )
• A travel allowance of €0.23 net and €0.06 gross p/km, regardless of where you live.
• 25 holidays o.b.v. 40 hours.
• Scheduled days off based on 40 hours.
• 8.33% holiday pay.
• Accrual plus pension.
