We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As a Master-level Future Process Designer, within our Tech organization and working cross-functionally across our Global Business Areas, you will be a catalyst for digital transformation. Your role involves envisioning and implementing innovative processes that enhance efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and drive organizational agility.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, especially in applying technology solutions to core business problems. We measure ongoing return on investment, based on actual realized project outcomes.
Demonstrates mastery in process engineering with subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, and techniques. Develops and delivers detailed designs for innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in complex environments across multiple functions. Capable of mediating between parties to achieve optimal process designs. Collaborates with large, cross-functional teams or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives. Able to work independently in new or existing areas that lack clear definition.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with cross-function stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Business Case Development: Drive the process from root cause analysis to value realization for management and SMEs. Communicate by creating and delivering compelling, data-driven, business cases for enhancements. Deliver root cause analysis, statistical testing, business benefits and impacts.
- Clearly identify Value Stream and Customer focused outcomes. Secure stakeholder engagement for your business case and design insights, emphasizing strategic alignment for detailed designs across business and IT teams, gap assessments, and development roadmaps over time.
- Identify areas for improvement in current processes and systems, translate raw requirements into comprehensive workflows.
Process Mapping & Improvement
- Create future-state processes designs: leverage emerging technologies and best practices to deliver breakthrough designs for future improvements in process roadmaps.
- Collaborate with leadership & SMEs from Business Operations & Tech to define the digital transformation strategy & roadmap.
- Develop and present future process business cases, value creation plans, and detailed future process maps for IT designers and business operations teams.
- Analyze and map existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and optimization.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with business and tech team stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project goals, expectations, and deliverables.
- End-to-end cross-functional Stakeholder Management: Manage environments with multiple and sometimes competing performance goals.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide independent, data-informed, analysis and recommendations. Provide leadership in driving transparency and clarity of process, data, analysis, and recommendations in projects for all stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements and communicate findings.
Solution Design & Evaluation
- Ability to apply design thinking that fits different environments (Cloud, on-premises, etc.) and enterprise platforms, achieving seamless user experience despite environment limitations
- Understand modern ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.), their limitations and benefits, especially when designing custom solutions that interact with these platforms
- Master in collaborating with UI/UX teams to translate the complex business concepts and requirements into streamlined, modern graphical user interfaces
- Evaluate and recommend software tools, technologies, and processes that align with business goals.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that the proposed solutions align with business needs.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas of opportunity for business growth.
- Design, implement and use process mining tools in conjunction with data dashboards and statistical analysis to drive data-driven investigations, improve executive insights on performance improvement, establish improvement action plans, design requirements to deliver value outcomes, and performance monitoring requirements
Project Management Support
- Support the project management team in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, on time and within scope.
- Assist in managing project timelines, risks, and resources, providing updates to stakeholders as needed.
Change Management
- Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and tools, ensuring smooth adoption across the business.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to guide teams through process or system changes.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Six Sigma) is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and business solutions.
- Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit initiatives, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements in complex business environments.
- Strong experience in process improvement, data analysis, and requirements documentation.
- Proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented individual, delivers data-driven business cases to senior executives
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., Miro, Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Excel).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies and toolsets (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
Analytical & problem-solving skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve complex business problems.
- Ability to think critically and propose solutions that drive business value.
Communication & Interpersonal skills:
- Communicate confidently and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and departments.
Leadership:
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior business analysts.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
These skills will be considered as plus:
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM tools, and other enterprise-level software solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Power Platform, SharePoint Online
- Advanced knowledge of process modeling and business analysis frameworks (e.g., BPMN, UML).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation projects.
