As Scala Developer you will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions to drive data-driven decision making across Schiphol Group. How you achieve results in this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you can distinguish between main and secondary issues and make connections. . You put your talents to work at:

  • Designing and implementing high-performance data pipelines using Scala and Spark.
  • Optimizing and maintaining the Core Data Platform on Azure and Databricks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Ensuring data quality, reliability and security of the data platform.

  • 3+ years proficiency in Scala programming.
  • Experience with Apache Spark.
  • Expertise in building data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience.
You get this
  • € 4744 to € 6582 gross per month (Schaal 12).
  • A 13th month (year-end bonus).
  • The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
  • An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
