In essence, your role involves
- Building your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market share in the Sector of Renewable Gases (Biomethane).
- Analyze market trends, engage in trading, and support early business development.
- Understanding and spotting opportunities in the renewable gases to originate deal flow within the country and across Europe.
- Act as a product expert on the subject to assist colleagues handling different transactions.
- Design tailor-made product to fulfil clients' needs
- Developing an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes
- Representing the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industry
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes
- Fluent Italian and fluent English;
- A bachelor’s/master's graduate, preferably in Business, Engineering, Economics, or Finance;
- 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial role within the trading/gas/biogas or biomethane industry/consultancy or similar in Italy or Europe
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Willingness (and excitement) to cold call and approach new people;
- Experience in complex transactions and negotiations preferred
- Energy, curiosity, and ambition;
- Accountability, responsibility, and openness to learning fast;
- Drive to close deals and make a difference for ACT and for your clients
