The department
We serve customers from all industries who need or are seeking a better way to host and run their business online. As we expand our presence in the global market, we are looking for new colleagues to strengthen our Sales team and meet the growing demand for hosting and infrastructure. Our goal is to help our customers scale to the next level, and grow alongside them. As a Sales Engineer, you will be part of our Sales team. The sales team consists of Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives and a Digital Marketer.

As a Sales Engineer you play a crucial role in connecting clients with tailored infrastructure solutions. This encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their infrastructure needs, recommending appropriate solutions such as dedicated servers, colocation services, or cloud infrastructure.
- Technical Presentations: Deliver detailed presentations and demonstrations, translating complex technical concepts into clear benefits for the client.
- Customized Solution Design: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop bespoke infrastructure setups that align with client requirements.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.
- Post-Sales Support: Ensure seamless implementation of solutions and provide ongoing support to maintain high client satisfaction.

As a Sales Engineer, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are customer- and service-oriented, with a strong ability to analyze client needs and craft innovative solutions. You thrive under pressure and work well both independently and as part of a team.
In addition, you bring:
- 3+ years experience as a Sales Engineer;
- in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, and data centers;
- knowledge of the hosting industry (a plus);
- fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch. It is nice if you can also speak other relevant languages.
