Hyster-Yale has 90 years of experience designing and building everything from smaller pallet trucks to the largest jumbo trucks (52 tons). It's a globally operating organization with a location in Nijmegen, Netherlands, since the 1950s. Hyster-Yale designs, assembles, sells, and services forkliftstons) under the Hyster and Yale brand names.
In Nijmegen, there are two assembly lines for the largest trucks in the range: the Big Truck line and the Jumbo Truck line. The Nijmegen location employs over 750 people across three divisions: 400 in manufacturing, 200 at the Big Truck Development Centre (Engineering), and over 150 in the After Market (after sales) organization.
As a Reliability Engineer you are supporting the New Product Development with Defining Project Reliability Growth Plans. You define and drive truck reliability targets including subsystems and components. Next to that you measure and predict product reliability. Support warranty and preventative maintenance predictions and support Design/System engineering with root cause finding methods and corrective action verification. Drive pro-active validation activities for Hyster internally as well as with component suppliers (eg D-FMEA) and report project reliability status and progress. Also you identify and implement continuous improvement activities for reliability engineering tools and processes as well as maintaining and distributing warranty claim reports.
- · Master / Bachelor degree in Engineering
- · Experience in agile work environments and product development processes
· Knowledge of reliability / prod. development tools such as DFMEA, FTA, Weibull, etc.)
- · Strong teamwork skills
- · Excellent business English
- · Power BI skills
Hyster-Yale operates under the Metal & Electrical Industry CAO and applies a market-based transparent salary structure for each position.
- 8% holiday allowance
- 27 vacation days plus 13 additional paid days (ADV) annually for a full-time contract
- Option to sell 6 ADV days per year, equaling 2.3% of your salary
- Option to buy (plus 10) or sell (minus 6) vacation days
- PME pension fund (mandatory participation as per CAO)
- Hybrid work option (in consultation with your manager, maximum 2 days per week for a full-time contract, if the position allows)
