We are looking for a male registered nurse (tall, strong and a non-smoker) to manage the daily caretaking chores of our client, a patient with Duchenne Muscular Distrophy. The candidate must be a pleasant and a social person who can make the difference to the daily well-being and healthcare of the client. The candidate has to be excited about working in the centre of Amsterdam and meeting new people (the client´s friends and students). The candidate will work 36/40 hours a week but will have enough spare time for himself to rest, or explore the city of Amsterdam.

Despite these challenges, he leads an active social life and enjoys activities with friends and caregivers. The nurse will be involved in daily tasks, social activities, and must possess basic knowledge of Duchenne's disease and lifting techniques. Duties may also include cooking, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
