Quanitity Surveyor

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for preparing and managing detailed project documentation and ensuring that all financial processes run smoothly:

• Documentation and Procurement Management: You will develop and review comprehensive procurement documents such as bills of quantities, specifications and project drawings in collaboration with the design and engineering teams.
• Cost Analysis: You perform detailed cost analyses for project components and ensure they fit within budget. In addition, you analyze differences between actual costs and budgets, and report on them to project stakeholders.
• Project Measurements and Quantification: You will measure project drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam to ensure accurate and efficient cost estimates.
• Payments and Certifications: You prepare interim payment certificates for subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring contract terms. You review subcontractor claims and ensure clear, fair payments based on progress achieved and work quality.
• Support Commercial Management: You support the Commercial Manager with monthly cost reports and maintain good relationships with subcontractors, carefully handling questions about payments and contracts.
• Project Closure: You will coordinate the collection of necessary documents for project closure, such as warranties and as-built drawings, and ensure a smooth financial settlement.

This is a project that lasts roughly 6 months, after this project you can take up other projects in the region!
