New QC Technician opportunity at an innovative Biotechnology company in Groningen!

In this fundamental role, you will perform routine testing for various projects, support investigations of OOS results and deviations, contribute to project planning and execution, and act as the expert for assigned equipment and assays, ensuring compliance with procedures, work plans, and quality guidelines while supporting Quality System activities and operational planning.

Offer:

  • Salary: up to 3500€ per month
  • Contract Type: 3-month Temporary Contract
  • Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
  • Location: Groningen

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine tests and project experiments independently, following approved procedures and quality requirements.
  • Interpret and report results, ensuring high-quality documentation and timely updates.
  • Lead Quality Control projects and supervise assigned technicians.
  • Determine and order raw materials for projects in consultation with the Quality Control Scientist.
  • Assist in project planning and execution, producing accurate Quality Control plans.
  • Propose and challenge experimental setups to meet customer requirements and support new technique implementation.
  • Write and review documentation for analyses, data logging, raw material testing, validation, and development studies.
  • Review and interpret data, handle deviations, and write change requests.
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment and act as an expert user or troubleshooter.
  • Pursue improvements in the Quality Control system, perform general QC activities, and train new colleagues.

    • Qualifications and Experience:

  • HBO with over 5 years of Quality Control experience, or a Master of Science in (micro)biology, biochemistry, chemistry; or equivalent laboratory education and experience in the Quality Control area.
  • Experience in the analytical area of the bio(pharmaceutical) field.
  • Knowledge of quality systems in the regulated industry, specifically in cGMP.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English at HBO/Scientific level.
  • Strong social and communication skills.
  • Effective planning skills.
