To strengthen their team in Pernis, they are looking for an experienced and flexible All-round Propulsion Engineer. In this challenging role, you will independently perform inspections and service work both locally and internationally.
Rotterdam Propulsion Services B.V. specialises in the repair and maintenance of propeller shaft installations, gearboxes, steering gears, azimuth thrusters and controllable pitch propeller installations of various manufacturers, among others. Functie- Inspecting , detecting, assessing and rectifying faults (independently and it team);
- Overhaul and maintenance on board ships, both mechanical and hydraulic;
- Modifications and advice on repairs to be carried out;
- Commissioning of repaired and/or overhauled installations;
- Preparing reports;
- assessing and preparing the work to be carried out.
- MBO level 4 working and thinking level, preferably obtained through a completed technical
- education in the direction of Mechanical Engineering / Marine Engineering or demonstrable work experience;
- Work experience in a relevant work environment is a plus;
- You have a valid driving licence B(E) and preferably a VCA VOL certificate;
- You are flexible in working hours; i.e. you work both locally and internationally for shorter or
- longer periods (irregular hours);
- You are flexible in working hours, willing to work irregular hours both locally and
- internationally for short and longer periods;
- You are proactive, independent, responsible, communicative, result-, people- and
- customer-oriented and can perform the required work both independently and as part of a team;
- You are willing to undergo (periodic) training, to expand your knowledge and skills.
