First things first! It is important that you live within 30 kilometers from Arnhem, have a valid permanent work visa to work in the Netherlands and are fluent in Dutch and English. If this is not the case, we ask you not to apply.
As Production Supervisor you create the production schedule and communicates it with the subordinates. in addition, you ensure that production can be carried out according to plan and that the product meets the set requirements with its subordinates.
Other activities of a production supervisor are:
- Ensures that the supply and removal for the production goes according to plan with the parties involved;
- Ensures that the installation remains in good condition with its subordinates;
- Maintain contact with all stakeholders he/his has to deal with;
- Conducts periodic appraisalswith subordinates;
- Monitors the process and the people involved in it for safety, environment and health.
As Production Supervisor you are responsible for the following:
- Production results in terms of volume, timely availability and product quality;
- The installation, the correct consumption of raw materials and resources;
- Aimed at continuous improvement of the operational activities under him/her;
- Responsible for safe, environmental and healthy working in and around the production environment.

Functie eisen
As a Production Supervisor it is important that you have mastered the production process in detail. You have the ability to direct the production employees towards a productive deployment and the realization of the agreed production plan. In addition, you can conduct appraisals and monitor agreements made therein. A Production Supervisor has the ability to direct subordinates to results and personal growth. You also have good knowlegde of safety, environment and health related aspect for the production environment. You have good communication skills with all stakeholders (speech and writing).
You also have the following:
- Bachelor's in mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing or similar discipline; or proven experience in the work field;
- Familiar with Extruder operations or similar continuous production operation processes and related uptime and maintenance management;
- Advanced knowledge of Production Quality Management;
- High communication and reporting skills;
- Preferably fork lift license;
- Clear and relevant planning and plan execution track record;
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and other relevant software;
- Proficient in English and/or Dutch; both languages at good level recommended.
