Role and responsibilities
You as a PO ensure that features and functionalities are developed by the IT Squad and its suppliers. And that these are in accordance with the ING IT Risk standards, legal frameworks, and ING's risk management policy.
Within this role, feature engineers may also report to you on new implementation projects of SAAS applications.
What are your responsibilities as a Product Manager?
- You create and communicate a product vision and management strategy for the IT Squad.
- Maximize the value of product delivery by taking ownership of the Product back log, prioritizing, and communicating it.
- You resolve impediments in the further development of the SAAS solutions to be managed.
- You are actively involved in creating Epics, Features, User Stories and tasks.
- Active and timely backlog management in collaboration with business and other IT stakeholders, with the aim of quickly responding to impediments and other challenges.
- You build and maintain good relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
- You draw up realistic delivery plans that are connected to the portfolio plans of the portfolio managers within CREFS NL.
- You ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are drawn up and check their implementation. Non-functional requirements include, but are not limited to: IT Security, performance, contractual, legal obligations.
- You are responsible for (new and existing) contracts with external and internal service providers.
- You ensure coordination around requirements from other departments and IT squads that fall outside the CREFS NL domain.
- You help the IM Manager to monitor and adjust the quality and performance of IT Squads.
- You participate in risk assessments and mitigation activities where necessary.
- You participate in IT Risk activities and ensure implementation of recommendations.
- You are a coach for the feature and SaaS engineers within the IT Squads
- You help and assist colleagues to achieve their own objectives.

- Knowledge of the basic concepts of Public and Private cloud solutions

- Excellent analytical skills
