The Technology Management Department is responsible to develop multidisciplinary technology and innovative products to form part of proposals as well as independent from tenders. The latter is to enlarge our capabilities to enable future projects and to increase value for the near and mid-term future. Subject developments are compliant to defined and anticipated requirements in order to contribute to the realization of the company’s goals and strategy.
About the jobThe Product Development Designer is responsible for performing conceptual design work in accordance with the study requirements. The Product Development Designer initiates new designs and develops existing concepts. You assist in preparation of study reporting and are responsible for design activities. Naturally you will deliver the design output on time according to the project, HSEQ&RC and corporate requirements. You will act as Lead Designer on studies and directs discipline Engineers assigned to the study. Also you are able to coach more junior designers and check work of colleagues to improve quality. You report to the Department Head Technology Management on design and status as well as on personal achievements and department matters.
RequirementsA disciplined and creative Product Development Designer. You have attention to detail and are capable of problem analyzing. With your planning & organization skills you know how to balance designing with administrative work as well with improvements on corporate standards. Furthermore the Product Development Designer has:
- For example a Technical College in Mechanical or Structural Engineering;
- Over 3 years of relevant experience in multidisciplinary design;
- Experience with of 3D engineering software and affinity with 3D animations and design data management;
- Computer literacy for 2D and 3D CAD for document processing and spreadsheets;
- A good understanding of the English language, verbally as well as in writing.
A fulltime, challenging position within an international environment. A gross yearly salary in line with market conditions, including a 13th month and holiday allowance. Furthermore is applicable a non-contributory pension plan and a collective medical insurance.
