As a Product Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors, overseeing the product development process from concept to delivery. Your role will involve driving product innovation, ensuring sustainability targets are met, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to achieve margin and quality goals.

This is a temporary position that will last around 2 months.
In this position, you will be asked to:
- Manage and track category-specific KPIs (such as margins, sustainability metrics, and timely delivery);
- Oversee the product development process, providing guidance on product improvements, cost optimization, and final approvals;
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with vendors and the supply chain to ensure alignment with product expectations and standards;
- Partner with Design teams on early-stage product development and sourcing initiatives, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and cost-effective pricing;
- Provide cost assessments during product development and identify potential quality risks, offering actionable solutions;
- Support the implementation of sustainability and innovation initiatives that align with company-wide goals;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data in systems (eg, PLM), including BOM, prices, and other critical product details;
- Coordinate operational activities such as lead-time review, sample management, risk assessment, and vendor communications;
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide insights and feedback related to product development, processes, and business needs.
Your salary will depend on your current knowledge and experience. Furthermore, it is a full-time position for 2 months.

Functie eisen
In this position, we ask that you have:* For senior candidates: 5+ years of experience in fashion, apparel, or textiles, with a proven track record in product development and process management;
* For medior candidates, 3+ years of experience required;
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in fashion, textiles, or a related field;
* Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, and color approval processes, with the ability to identify and mitigate quality risks;
* Familiarity with product costing, FOB pricing, and the ability to work closely with vendors to achieve margin targets;
* Experience with PLM systems and managing product data is beneficial;
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
