We are currently looking for a passionate Procurement Officer for our Sales Support Team. You will work in a professional and ambitious team, with whom you will jointly pick up the purchase of services and products for Van den Bosch.

In the role of Procurement Officer, you are responsible for all forms of procurement, hiring and contracting that occur at Van den Bosch. You will be responsible for contracting logistics services such as sea freight, tank cleaning, agency contracts and much more.

You will need to identify, evaluate and select reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions, negotiate favourable rates and service level agreement with suppliers, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal departments and external partners, implement cost saving initiatives and generate reports on key performance indicators within the organization and with our logistics providers.

You are an energetic professional who thinks in opportunities, and you are also someone who possesses a high dose of achievement motivation. You get a lot of freedom and responsibility to contribute to a wonderful, healthy and growing company.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing services
• Good command of the English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced function and formulas
• You have commercial and technical insight and affinity with the transport industry and sea freight
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Attention to details and ability to work under pressure
• Possession of persuasiveness and the ability to influence
