Functieomschrijving

As a Privacy Officer, you are part of the Data Protection Specialists (DPS) team in the Global Privacy Office. You advise our colleagues in the domains of the CEO, CFO, and CRO. Getting great privacy advise to our colleagues enables them to balance risk, return, and sustainability and contributes to being a rock-solid bank. Performing oversight of Privacy by Design in particular makes you an excellent sparring partner for these domains.



  • Your main responsibilitiesYou provide actionable advise to our colleagues in the First Line of Responsibility on privacy related-issues, in particular on Data Protection Impact Assessments and Personal Data Breaches.
  • You support data subjects (such as clients or employees), acting as escalation point in case their privacy rights and requests have not been properly handled by the First Line of Responsibility.
  • You transfer your knowledge and skills to the Data Protection Specialists team and our stakeholders in the First Line of Responsibility.
  • You are part of the domain meetings within these different domains and have a reviewing and challenging role.


Together, we advise the organization on privacy related-issues, support data subjects as an escalation point, and cooperate with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Functie-eisen
  • You present your message and yourself in an impactful and inspiring way in both Dutch & English and can respond to the needs of the audience.
  • You obtained a BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field and have +10 years (with BSc) or +5 years (with MSc) of working experience in a Compliance-related role such as a Risk & Control Partner of Compliance Advisor in the Financial Services sector. Knowledge of financial products are a plus.
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about Data Protection. Proven knowledge, for instance through a CIPP/E certification, is a plus.
  • You actively contribute to collaborative efforts, leveraging diverse perspectives and skills in internal and external networks to create a positive impact achieving collective goals;
  • You navigate change & uncertainty with flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, embracing new challenges as opportunities for growth.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • Minimum €6,000 and maximum €8,750 gross per month
  • 13th month (paid periodically and on a pro-rata basis)
  • 8.33% holiday allowance
  • Pension scheme (pension accrual from day 1)
  • Net €750 to set up your home office
  • 25 vacation days per year based on a 40-hour workweek
  • Travel allowance
