Power Plant Control System Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Specialist in Power Plant Automation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining advanced automation systems (Omnivise T3000) for power plants.

Responsibility: You will be responsible for the execution of Controls and optimization projects, mainly in Steam and Combined Cycle Power Plants

Technically, the candidate should be able to:

• Install systems and software.
• Update them to the latest versions.
• Make or build systems from the ground up.
• Add patches (software updates that fix bugs or security issues).
• Handle process automation, which means setting up systems to run tasks automatically instead of manually.
• Work with POC systems related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Short term?: 

• Extensive training,
• You will add new tool/system experience to your experience, 
• you will perform updates, upgrades, expansions and migrations of our DCS automation systems both in-house, with remote connections, and on location at our customers

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Automation, or a related field
• Detailed knowledge of Process Control network systems and associated components (Firewalls, Switches, Cyber ​​Security solutions, etc.,)
• Proven experience with DCS systems and/or automation systems in the energy sector
• Communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus/ProfiNET, IEC61850, IEC60870, etc.)
• Knowledge of Simatic S7 & Omnivise T300 is a big plus
• Good Communication skills and attention to detail
