Our client has been around since 1930 and is a renowned producer of kitchen worktops. They have a plant in Beuningen, 's-Heerenberg, Alphen aan den Rijn, Zevenhuizen and Wijchen. They make kitchen worktops from various materials and are now a concept at every kitchen store.

About the job

As a packer in the technical production area, you are responsible for carefully packing composite, marble, or granite kitchen countertops. You use hand tools to ensure that each countertop is well-protected for transport. You will work with other employees in the production department. 
In addition to packing, you ensure that the countertops are free from sharp edges or bumps before they are packed. It is important that the countertops arrive in perfect condition at the customer's location, so attention to detail is essential. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for delivering a 100% correct end product. This job gives you the opportunity to be proud of the final result!
Experience or training in working with wood and/or stone is definitely an advantage, but not strictly necessary. Our client provides internal training. For communication with colleagues and the ability to read instructions, proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.

Who are you

•    Familiarity with the tools;
•    Experience in the woodworking sector and/or knowledge of materials is and added bonus;
•    You are able to work independently;
•    You are able to work well with others;
•    You are available to work for 40 hours in 2 shifts;
•    You are in possession of a driver's license;
•    At our client, the customer comes first, so it goes without saying that you are customer-oriented;
•    In order to contribute to the development of the organization, you are constantly busy with your own personal development and you show initiative in wanting to invest in yourself.

What we offer you

This vacancy is on a temporary basis, and if you have successfully completed the 6-month temporary employment period, you have a chance to get a contract with our client. They are growing at a fast rate and therefore want to connect with proper employees and offer them a contract!
