As the Packaging Technologist (Technical changes), you will deliver the implementation of technical changes in both packaging and the interaction between the packaging and the machine. You will also support and engage in the different phases of the project.

A world-leading organization in the food industry with an office in Zoetermeer is looking for a Packaging Technologist (Technical changes)!

As the packaging technologist (Technical changes), you will support different phases of the project, within this role the focus is on Design Qualification review (DQ), Operational Qualification (IQ) execution, and Performance Qualification (PQ) execution including reporting to all stakeholders involved. Technical point of contact in projects, supporting and advising in changes from different types of projects; CAPEX, Innovation, Productivity, Secure Supply, Quality, and Compliance projects. As well as supporting the daily operations of the Filling Department. Setup of Standards/SOP.

  • Lead and deliver Packaging Projects to ensure that all products can be manufactured robustly;
  • Responsible for the definition, preparation, execution, and follow-up of trials according to the set URS including DQ, OQ, and PQ reporting;
  • Participant in the Risk Assessment Process for projects together with other internal and external stakeholders;
  • Supporting the Filling Departments, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement;
  • Standardization and Continuous Improvement on DQ, OQ, and PQ Protocols.

Through our agency, you will receive a 5-month temporary contract.
There is a possibility that your contract will be renewed after these 5 months or that our client will make you an offer of a contract, however, we are not able to guarantee this.

  • Salary will be around €6000 - €7000 gross a month based on a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is based on education and experience;
  • 30 annual leave days;

Functie eisen

* Minimally 3 years of relevant work experience;
* Bachelor - Degree in Packaging Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Food Technology;
* Proven track record in the execution of DQ, OQ, and PQ validations in a factory environment;
* Good understanding of Quality & Food Safety Standards, Change, and Risk Management (e.g. FMEA, HAZOP, HACCP);
* Autonomous and capable of taking ownership and delivering results;
* Project management, internal stakeholder management, result-driven, team player;
* Experience in Innovation, Packaging Development, Research & Development;
* Good communicator, analytics, curious, structured, organized;
* Both English and Dutch required.
