Packaging Operator Daytime

As a Packaging Operator, you’ll have a varied day:

• Supplying eggs to the painting machines
• Setting up and converting the machines
• Providing instructions to the packing staff
• Keeping track of the line’s administration
• Ensuring quality control

You will work day shifts, but during the 4 to 6 weeks before Easter, this could also involve working in two shifts.

• You have an MBO-level education and thinking
• You have several years of experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety is a plus
• Knowledge of the Dutch or English language. Other languages (German) can be helpful, but are not required.

This company specializes in cooking eggs. Each year, about 100 employees process hundreds of millions of eggs, which are cooked, painted, and peeled. From their location in Ospel, these eggs are distributed throughout Europe. In addition to painting and peeling, they also have a packing station and a large cold storage, where eggs are sorted and stored for both retail and their own processes.

Thanks to their years of experience and expertise, they can meet every customer requirement regarding taste, texture, and packaging. Their boiled and peeled eggs find their way into salads from well-known European food manufacturers and make sandwiches even tastier. The food service and catering wholesale sectors also enjoy using their peeled eggs. Moreover, the colored eggs are consumed year-round in various countries, not just at Easter. So it’s very possible that you’ve tasted an egg that came through Ospel!
