What is the role we hiring for?
We are looking for a T-Shaped Windows .NET and SQL Server experienced engineer who is willing to adapt and work on containerized and Linux based platforms as well. Someone who is acquainted with comparable environments, ideally in the financial business area and enjoys working with Agile / Lean / Scrum frameworks / methodologies. Who is embracing the responsibility for the implementation, configuration and maintenance of a high available platform, a platform hosting critical applications, supporting crucial financial and credit risk processes.
You will be configuring and maintaining the platform in a professional and controlled way using SRE principals. The business processes are traveling over various other systems and require you to look beyond your own scope and collaborate closely with other teams in the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the Windows .NET and SQL Servers platform.
  • Configure and maintain multiple MSSQL databases and .NET applications.
  • Ability to manage, configure, optimize the IIS Server
  • Familiar with SRE concepts and System and Application Monitoring
  • Applying capacity and performance management using
  • Use monitoring and observability tooling like SCOM/SquaredUp, Prometheus/Grafana and ELK stack to prevent issues and improve the stack.
  • Familiar with fail safe and disaster recovery and business continuity concepts.
  • Ensure high levels of availability, sustainability and security.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management/ITIL and relevant tooling
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
  • Execute blameless postmortems and root cause analysis from e2eand follow up on them.
  • Be outspoken and provide suggestions for solutions and improvements.
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Assisting developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Assisting developers in building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated deployments of IIS applications or windows services
  • Develop structured, version controlled and efficient PowerShell code for automation purposes.
  • Drive a professional Life Management and vulnerability management attitude.
  • Provide standby support for critical production systems when required.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after regular hours.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • good level of experience in a SQL & Windows Server administration or similar roles
  • good level of experience on Microsoft's AlwaysOn solution
  • experienced with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
  • good level of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization
  • good level of automation skills, via scripting (mostly PowerShell, Ansible)
  • good level of experience with Windows server and Active Directory
  • good level of experience on security concepts and implementations around a platform
  • experienced with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • experienced with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • experiences with Active Directory and Kerberos capabilities and concepts
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Microsoft relevant MCSA/ MCS qualifications
