Metal and technical
As an OP Welder, you will make welding connections using (semi)automatic welding machines, which comply with the relevant welding regulations (WPS). Because of the specific machines, you will be retrained by the company in the OP Welding role. You ensure that the welding machine remains in good condition by carrying out minor preventive maintenance work and ensure a proper transfer to the next shift. Keeping the workplace clean and orderly (Housekeeping) is part of this. You will work in a team where employees of different nationalities work. It is therefore important that you speak English well. As an OP welder, you will work in a 3-shift system. As a result, you must consider day, night, and afternoon shifts.
What your tasks will be?
- Determining the correct working method;
- Taking initiatives within the framework of guidelines set by the hall coordinator;
- Deviating from the production sequence list after permission from the hall coordinator and/or production coordinator;
- Machine Welding of Seams.
- Previous experience as a machine or manual welder, with a desire to be retrained as an OP welder.
- Lower Vocational Education working and thinking level, obtained by completing a technical education
- Proficiency in various welding techniques.
- Hands-on experience with relevant transport equipment, including overhead cranes and lorries.
- Competence in metalworking.
- Methodical work approach.
- Possession of a European Passport.
- English language proficiency at level B1/B2.
