Regional Commercial Manager EU Rotterdam || 36-40  hours

With a solid foundation dating back to 1919 in Tilburg, MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V. has developed into a leading player in the world of transport and logistics, as part of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. With more than 165 colleagues spread over four offices in the Netherlands, we have built up a close-knit network that excels in various logistics domains; including ocean freight, air freight, warehousing, road and, rail transport, customs regulations and tax activities that is integrated into our global organization. Our customer-oriented approach, the high-quality level of our service and our integrated approach to supply chain logistics are at the heart of our culture. For our business unit MCS (MOL Consolidation Service ) we are looking for a Regional Commercial Manager EU.

In this role, you will be responsible for increasing revenue and market share by developing and implementing innovative sales strategies, building and nurturing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Your focus will span both existing markets and exciting new growth areas, all aimed at strengthening our competitive edge in the industry.

What are you going to do?

  • Commercial management:
  • Primary contact for all Europe based customers.  
  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer portfolios.
  • Quoting to customers.
  • Improving customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of service, quality and efficiency.
  • Agency coordination for whole region Europe.
  • Pricing Less Container Load + Full Container Load + AIR.
  • Manages the agency cost and pricing for operations in Europe.
  • Account Receivable/ P&L - with MLG NL.
  • Control of contract agreements, SLAs, KPIs, monitoring volume.
  • Maintaining relationships with key suppliers such as shipping companies, air cargo companies and carriers.

Functie eisen

  • Strong Experience as Account Manager plus operational activities for clients.
  • Involvement in business wide fulfilment.
  • Communication and meetings with colleagues across the globe.
  • Knowledge of sea freight, consolidation and PO Management as well as air is a must.
  • Different time zones.
  • English and German essential.
  • Availability to travel.
