In this role, you will be developing cutting elements for grooming and beauty appliances from initial idea towards mass manufacturing. This will be done within diverse and multidisciplinary development teams.
You are responsible for
Generating cutting components for grooming and beauty equipment such as shavers, trimmers, clippers, body groomers, single blades, and epilators. You uphold our trusted standards of functionality, design, and simplicity.
- Translating user, commercial and function requirements into technical cutting element specifications.
- Developing and engineering appropriate cutting element modules.
- Safeguarding functionality, performance, quality, reliability and manufacturability of cutting elements.
- Planning, realizing and steering the development of the cutting element functions.
- Find, re-use, generate and capture the knowledge needed to further develop the primary function of our devices.
- Generating necessary input for roadmap and strategy discussions.
- Cooperating with colleagues and other departments and can influence people and help build a team.
Functie-eisen
- Should Hold Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or alike.
- Good interest in understanding the underlying principles and mechanisms that determine how products work.
- Carry experience in the field of function development for consumer products.
- Should be conversant with cutting-edge development approaches.
- Skills in Python, FEM, CAD are a plus
- Experience with Design for Six Sigma is a plus
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions:
- A good salary as per market standards.
- 13th month salary
- 8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries.
Secondary employment conditions:
- Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
- 13th month (paid periodically on a pro-rata basis) or the possibility of a bonus (4 to 8% per quarter - average of 1 month's salary per year)
