This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for technology, are eager to evolve as a technical specialist in the Power Transmission sector, and have the potential to grow into an international professional. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in both office-based and on-site activities, managing technical projects while also interacting directly with customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise, and the ability to engage with customers to drive both technical and commercial success. If you are enthusiastic about technology, comfortable managing multiple projects, and confident in selling technical solutions, we want to hear from you!

• Education: Higher vocational level of education (HBO) or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a technical and sales environment, particularly in fields related to technical products or engineering.
• Communication Skills: High proficiency in English and French both written and verbal. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience operating SOLIDWORKS (2022) and/or AUTOCAD LT (2019) is required. A solid understanding of technical sales and project management will be beneficial.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: A strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to approach customer challenges with practical solutions.
• Sales & Customer Success Focus: A proactive and service-oriented individual who thrives on building relationships with colleagues and customers. Experience in technical sales and the ability to act as a confident, fully engaged discussion partner.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Comfortable working in an international setting, with a good understanding of different cultures and a collaborative approach.
