Our customer produce quality printed clothing and accessories for high profile clients across the globe within the retail, art, music, and charity sectors. Made up of two companies, one based in the UK and one in the Netherlands, they are wholly owned by the world’s largest promotional product supplier, Polyconcept. They are the largest Direct-To-Garment printer in Europe with its principal offices located in Westbury, Wiltshire UK.
Wat ga je doen? • Repairing machines and parts: your main task is to repair machines and their parts. Is there a breakdown? Then you will be in the front line to solve it as quickly as possible.
• Performing quality checks and inspections: safety is paramount in the production process. As a maintenance engineer, you regularly carry out quality checks and inspections. In this way, you prevent malfunctions and ensure that the machines can be operated safely.
• Maintenance work: does the inspection show that something is not working 100%? Then you make sure it is repaired or report it so that it can be solved at another time.
• Suggest improvements: do you see something happening on the work floor that you think could be better, faster or more efficient? Then you do something about it! As a maintenance engineer, this makes you an extra valuable link in the business process.
• Reporting work: due to safety regulations, equipment and machines must be checked regularly. You therefore keep a neat record of all checks, inspections, and repairs. That way, you know exactly when the next maintenance service needs to be scheduled.
• Regular meetings with the Engineering manager and the Digital Manager to inform and update each other.
• Carrying out regular maintenance on the equipment and ensuring monitoring and compliance data is correctly recorded for audit purposes.
• Supervision and monitoring of work performed by third parties.
• Able to teach others and guide colleagues to finding solutions.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and spare parts as necessary.
• Ensure the spare stock inventory is accurate.
• Ensure correct certification / accreditation is obtained.
• Ensure that all work has been risk assessed before completing.

Wat wij vragen • A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, all-round operations technician, or maintenance technology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with printing technologies and processes. •Comfortable using Microsoft office suite.
• You speak and write the Dutch and English languages.
• A strong analytical ability to identify, solve and improve problems.
• Creativity regarding coming up with solutions.
• A strong work ethic and a healthy dose of ambition
• An independent and accurate working attitude
• Willingness to travel to other locations approx. 2-3 times per year.
• Flexibility with hours.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate and work with colleagues at all levels, including senior management.
• You demonstrate high levels of attention to detail.
• Able to think on your feet and manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
• Ability to prioritize workload as needed.
• You are a strong individual, able to deal with changing requirements day to day, and able to use different approaches with members of the team.

Wat wij bieden • Salary between 3300 and 3700 a month;
• Starting with a year contract;
