Machine Operator

Our client has been innovative and specialized in preparing, pre-treating and leveling all surfaces of the most diverse types for more than 35 years. The work takes place in renovation and new construction work.

The work of this company consists of polishing, blasting, milling, sanding and planing of concrete, steel decks, screed floors, bridges, etc. They are the specialist that prepares/levels every surface for the placement of every new finish.

They serve customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. With a combination of specialist knowledge of the subject matter, skilled employees and state-of-the-art machines, they serve their customers.

For our client we are looking for a machine operator. In order to serve their clients flexibly and deliver quality, they have many of their own machines and a workshop that works at a professional level.
You are the one who has perseverance and enjoys working in different places in the Netherlands and abroad and feeling valued.
You can learn all the techniques and services at our client, and then perform them independently.

Your tasks in this position will be:

• Operating machines and minor maintenance on location such as cleaning hoses and rotating parts;
• Resolving ad-hoc malfunctions;
• Dust-free work: wet sanding, blasting and planing of hard surfaces;
• Dust-free work: sanding and milling;
• Wet blasting: water blasting, steam cleaning and olivine cleaning.

Don't worry if you dont have any expierence! We are looking for a new team member that is willing to learn new things.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has no 9 to 5 mentality, has a hands-on mentality and who thinks in solutions;
• Is motivated, goal-oriented and a team player with a flexible attitude;
• Enjoys relieving colleagues and customers and have good communication skills;
• Has common sense to work safely and responsibly with tools and machines;
• Has a driving license B;
• Forklift certificate, is a plus, but we can also train you internally.

This vacancy is on a temporary basis, and if you have successfully completed the 12-month temporary employment period, you have a chance to get a contract with our client. They are growing at a fast rate and therefore want to connect with proper employees and offer them a contract!
