Logistics Employee

You will be working for a well-known company specializing in the production of snacks and food products. As a logistics employee, you play a crucial role within the organization. You ensure that the production department always has the right goods, keep the warehouse organized and efficient, and maintain inventory levels. Are you interested? • Organise the warehouse in a convenient and organised manner.
• Check that incoming and outgoing goods are correct and in good condition.
• Use a reach truck to store and move pallets and products.
• Store goods in the correct manner, so that the oldest products are used first (FIFO method).
• Count and maintain stock.
• Organise the freezer space cleverly so that everything fits well and is accessible.
• Take goods to the production department.
• Collect products and prepare them for dispatch to customers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Use a computer programme to keep track of stock.
• Ensure a tidy and safe workplace.

FunctievereistenTo successfully perform this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Extensive experience in driving a reach truck.
• In possession of a reach truck certificate or willing to obtain one.
• Knowledge of the FIFO principle and HACCP guidelines.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Good command of the Dutch or English language in speech and writing.
• Working in a structured, independent and stress-resistant manner.
• Willing to work in a two-shift system (06:00 - 15:00 & 15:00 - 23:00).
• Do not mind working in a cold environment (-21 °C), of course in a heated cabin.
