With various divisions and approximately 37,000 employees worldwide, they are active in the production of a wide range of steel products. These include tubes, mining and construction machinery, stainless steel, special steel alloys, and industrial heating solutions. The Venlo facility plays a key role within the company. Although they do not produce steel parts themselves, they are responsible for the entire logistics process. They ensure that all locations worldwide are supplied timely and efficiently, allowing the entire production network to operate smoothly.
Functieomschrijving
As a Logistics Employee at our client in Venlo, you play a key role in the logistics process. You ensure that all orders are processed on time and accurately. You'll start by packing various products to get to know them well, and gradually you'll take on more responsibilities. Your tasks will include:
- Collecting orders, from small parts to heavy machine components weighing up to 7 tons.
- Operating overhead cranes and forklifts to move goods.
- Unloading containers and trucks.
- Working in a two-shift system: 06:00 - 14:30 and 14:30 - 23:00.
Functie-eisen
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
- No fear of heights.
- Experience in logistics is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to obtain certificates (such as a forklift certificate).
- Proficiency in Dutch, English, or German.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary of €15.92 per hour, including a 12.5% shift allowance.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
- One hour of break per day, with 30 minutes paid.
- Full-time work in two shifts.
