In Roosendaal, there is a PRIMARK® distribution center measuring over 30,000 m2. From this distribution center, France, Spain and Italy are supplied with trendy clothing. In the DC, SSI SCHAEFER built a logistics facility in 2020 and carries out maintenance on, among other things, Automated Guided Vehicles, automatic cranes, a monorail system and pallet transport systems. An expansion is planned for the future, which will further automate the DC. If you come to work here, you will work with state-of-the-art technology, with your own tools (cart), laptop and telephone. And you have access to a fully equipped workshop and a good cup of coffee.Over de functieWHAT WILL YOU DO AS A LEAD TECHNICIAN?
As Lead Technician you are part of our service team for PRIMARK® in Roosendaal. This consists of 11 employees, a close-knit team in which people do a lot for each other. You can develop quickly and you will receive an extensive induction program on the maintenance of various technical installations. For example, there are 20-meter high automatic cranes, pallet transport systems, a monorail system and Automated Guided Vehicles that drive around.
You will step in when there are malfunctions and coordinate maintenance actions with our logistics partner GXO. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and execute the work. You will work closely with your colleagues in your team and can coordinate matters well, but you will also perform tasks completely independently. In short: a challenging role in which you will be working with innovative technology on a daily basis, where you can learn quickly and a lot. Our PRIMARK technicians will also perform maintenance on SSI SCHAEFER equipment at KLM, so once you have been fully trained, you can also be deployed at KLM.
In addition, we are looking for a person who can also be the point of contact for the customer in the absence of the Resident Maintenance Manager and who can take the lead in the team.

- A (permanent) position at SSI SCHAEFER
- Salary between €3,500 and €4,000 gross per month when working full-time (depending on work experience)
- Surcharge of 16% on your salary in connection with the shift system and an attractive bonus scheme
- Travel expenses €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
- Conditions in accordance with the collective labor agreement for the Metal and Electrical Industry (27 vacation days, PME pension and a training day)
