Are you ready to play a pivotal role in creating innovative material handling systems? As a Layout Engineer, you will join our Warehousing Solutions Project Engineering Department at our Veghel office. This department oversees the global execution of projects that integrate mechanical, electrical, and control software components into state-of-the-art material handling systems. Working closely with a Project Leader and a multidisciplinary team of engineers, the Layout Engineer will contribute to designing and delivering exceptional solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities of the Layout Engineer
As a Layout Engineer, your key tasks will include:
- Participating in system design to ensure optimal layouts and functionality.
- Creating and completing 3D designs from initial sketches to final customer approval.
- Detailing designs to prepare and release mechanical equipment specifications.
- Managing revisions of 3D models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) interfaces for seamless integration.
- Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with required standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The Solution Engineering Department is at the core of our operations, responsible for developing winning commercial proposals in close collaboration with the Sales Management Department during the sales phase. Once a project is awarded, the team works to successfully implement the designed solutions in partnership with the Project Execution Department.
By housing a wide range of expertise within one team, the Solution Engineering Department ensures seamless collaboration and eliminates critical interfaces between departments. This integrated approach enables the Layout Engineer to contribute effectively to both the design and execution phases, ensuring a total solution for our clients.
