As Junior Data Scientist you will be developing and implementing advanced forecasting models for passenger numbers and flows, essential for efficient operational and strategic planning of the airport. How you achieve results in this? That’s up to you. We trust in the way you can distinguish between main and secondary issues and make connections. You put your talents to work at:

  • Developing machine learning models for accurate passenger predictions at flight level.
  • Implementing algorithms on various complex data sources within the airport.
  • Translating technical needs into structural solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.


You'll work in a dynamic environment where continuous improvement is central. You'll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies and tools such as MLflow, Databricks, and Kubernetes. Additionally, you'll contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of airport operations.

  • Master's or PhD in mathematics, physics, computer science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Software Engineer, MLE or similar role. 
  • Experience with Python programming and the SciPy stack (Pandas/Numpy).
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications.
  • Proficiency in working with Git and CI/CD setups.
You get this
  • € 4401 to € 6128 gross per month (Schaal 11).
  • A 13th month (year-end bonus).
  • The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
  • An NS Business Card that fully reimburses travel by public transportation to and from work.
