ABN AMRO Clearing is a globally active and prominent general clearing member, providing best execution, clearing, settlement, custody and financing services for listed derivatives, cash securities, over-the-counter products, exchange-traded funds, commodities, and foreign exchange transactions. As a prime broker, our single global service model for clients connects businesses in the three regions: : Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the United States. ABN AMRO Clearing covers all major exchanges and execution venues, combined with central counterparty coverage in those regions as well as Brazil.

The IT organisation is responsible for the day-to-day availability of IT systems for clients and employees. To this end, IT maintains the service quality of systems and infrastructure, makes business information available and designs solutions. IT also ensures that disruptions or incidents affecting the IT landscape or end users are resolved quickly and adequately. IT is also responsible for Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure

 

With the following results:

Together with 3 peers around the globe, you will be responsible for the overall IT Service Continuity management process. The scope is global and contains all on premise IT Infrastructure, SaaS and Cloud application.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Process and Plan
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of the service
  • Ensuring the IT resilience capability of the organisation, aligns to Business Resilience requirements
  • Assure and where appropriate, participate in end-to-end testing for Service Continuity exercises
  • Schedule risk reviews, obtaining current risk status and mitigation tasks with Risk Owners
  • Manage and raise risks, where a risk to service has been identified
  • Support Product Owners to create and maintain the Service Continuity and Risk documentation
  • Work closely with the dev/ops teams to ensure the required exercises are performed in time and with the desired quality and outcome (eg RTO/RPO)
  • Identify and govern ITSC related risks, as well as maintaining visibility and awareness of related Risks, Issues, and Improvements
  • Report towards Risk committees on the health of the IT Disaster Recovery / failover services, identifying issues and remediation activities

Functie-eisen
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly, clearly identifying key risks and gaps, issues, and present information concisely
  • Ability to lead the IT and business organisations to a higher maturity level in IT Service Continuity
  • Have a proven track record in IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) and can demonstrate that you have worked in an ITSCM function, where you have operated an assurance / risk based managed ITSCM process and exercises
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and high availability architectures
  • Good understanding of Risk Management concepts and working practices
  • Hands on mentality
  • Demonstrate, that you have experience in implementing, applying, and governing IT Service Continuity Management standards and procedures
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively across all operational levels of the organisation as well as with suppliers
  • Fluent in the English language

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • Preference is given to candidates with a salary expectation between €60,000 and €75,000 per year, including 8.33% holiday allowance, based on a 40-hour workweek
  • Freelance max hourly rate: € 85
