Please visit About Role:We are looking for an IT Field Support Engineer who is responsible for providing on-site technical support/solutions and maintenance for hardware, software, and networking issues which include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing IT equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of systems. The IT Field Support Engineer acts as a bridge between the IT department and end-users and will have a chance to support multiple customers across multiple locations.Responsibility: · This position will provide on-site technical support/assistance, potentially to various clients with multiple locations. · Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other peripherals.· Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and hardware components.· Regular maintenance of IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.· Repairs and replacements hardware, including hard drives, memory modules, and other components.· Ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical problems to minimize system downtime.· Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on-site, addressing their IT-related queries and concerns.· Provide training to end-users to know how to use and maintenance of IT equipment and software applications properly.· Develop and maintain user documentation and guides for common IT tasks and troubleshooting procedures.· Managing incidents and technical issues by logging, tracking, and resolving incidents and service requests using by using the ticketing system.· Analyze issues and provide recommendations for long-term solutions.· Collaborate with other IT teams to identify root causes and implement preventativeWhat do you bring?· Experiences in IT support or IT Field Support Engineer· Possess a strong background in Change LifeCycle Management IT Service Management and Incident Management.· Strong experience in Windows, Macintosh, OS X Laptop Support End User Tools - Nexthink Incident Management Networking IT Service Management and Support Service Now with Windows environments.· Fluent in Dutch and have a good communication skill in English. · You have problem-solving skills and strong communication skills like working independently, have flexibility and enjoy traveling!What we offer· A competitive salary based on your qualities and experience.· Access to Udemy, Cognizant Academy digital libraries for your continuous learning.· NS business card to cover your commute expenses.· 25 days of paid holiday per year.· A laptop and a smartphone.· A pension scheme.· Organization driven by technology – we have a tremendous technology backbone.· Open, ‘can do’ team spirit and international environment that encourages making your ideas reality!The Cognizant community:
