The People & Culture department is looking for a temporary replacement (due to maternity leave) for the role of (Sr.) Compensation & Benefits Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing a new, harmonized job architecture within the Netherlands. You will translate the remuneration policy into practical tools and guidelines for managers and employees. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of group-wide C&B processes such as salary setting, variable pay programs, and job evaluation.

You will work closely with the international C&B team and collaborate with HR managers, HRBPs, and the Shared Service organization to ensure smooth processes and well-established ways of working.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the implementation of the new job architecture in the Netherlands;
  • Train and guide HR managers and HRBPs;
  • Advise and collaborate with (senior) management;
  • Contribute to the development of Compensation & Benefits processes at a group level;
  • Monitor and stay up to date with regulations and developments in the C&B field;
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure C&B aligns optimally with business needs;
  • Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits policies and practices.

The all-in rate for this assignment will be max. €90 per hour. The assignment will be from 12/05/25 until 31/10/25. This position is also open if you're not a freelancer. In that case you will receive a temporary contract via our agency.

Within four working days we will let you know if you qualify for the position. We will schedule an introductory interview, either digitally or in-person. During this interview we will inform you as fully as possible about the vacancy, the company and the following steps in the procedure. Functie eisen

The ideal candidates meets the following requirements:

* Academic background in HR or Law;
* 5-7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits;
* Experience with both Korn Ferry / Hay and Mercer methodologies;
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish credibility quickly;
* Hands-on mentality and pragmatic approach;
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex issues for stakeholder buy-in;
* Experience working in a matrix organization and an international setting;
* Strong command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
* Availability of 20 hours/week from 12/05/25 - 31/10/35.
