You will be responsible to develop local channel insights & trends. Conduct thorough research on competitors, market trends, market pricing, relevant categories and applications and translate those/feeding into actionable channel plans/actions. You are going to work for a global dairy company headquartered in the Netherlands. It's one of the largest dairy companies in the world, and its products span a wide range of categories, including dairy ingredients, consumer dairy products, and specialized nutrition.

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. You will work 2 days a week until December, then full time. The assignment will last until at least May.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Local Channel Insights & Trends: Conduct in-depth research on competitors, market trends, pricing, and relevant categories. Use these insights to craft actionable channel plans that keep us ahead of the competition;
  • Execute Optimal Product Portfolios: Determine and refine the product assortment, focusing on innovation. Align product development with channel plans to ensure market leadership;
  • Local Channel Plans: Translate global strategies into tailored, country-specific plans. Develop comprehensive 12-quarter plans with clear goals, KPIs, and target audience definitions. Oversee execution, manage customer journeys, and ensure alignment with marketing communications;
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to guide strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts. Monitor performance indicators to adjust strategies for maximum impact and efficiency;
  • Customer and Budget Management: Build Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key customers and wholesalers. Map customer journeys to enhance the experience and manage advertising and promotional budgets effectively.

For this job for at least 9 months you will get around €75,- per hour.

Functie eisen

Qualifications:

* 4-6y - Proven experience in marketing management;
* Academic/ Master (WO) educational level;
* Proven experience in channel marketing management;
* Good knowledge of the B2B and Foodservice market;
* Customer focus: great curiosity for customer (operator) insights and thinking outside in;
* Knowledge of Financial Management;
* Effectively sets up strategies and plans.
